Souldada - Cameleon Theatre, Amsterdam, 16 November 2007
The Cameleon Theatre is located in an old school building outside the center of Amsterdam. It's a small and snug venue, the perfect location for the world music of Souldada that played here yesterday.
Carel van Leeuwen could not make it tonight and so Hans Battenburg replaced him. He proved to be a creative player of his electric violin. Most songs were from their latest CD 'Canção',
and especially the Greek songs, sung by Janna Koussio, were quite catching. On his 'cajón' Willem Smid drummed an impressive solo,
while Herman Woltman played various string instruments. Johan Keus filled up the background sound playing his bass guitar.
