Nizlopi
Melkweg (Amsterdam, Netherlands) 25 April 2006

Luke Concannon (guitar, vocals) and John Parker (bass, human beatbox) are the two men that form the band Nizlopi (the band was named after a Hungarian girl that Luke had an eye on whilst at school). Their latest album is titled Half Of These Songs Are About You - many songs of this album were sung on the Melkweg (Milky Way) stage. In a very Nizlopic way, they started their gig amidst the audience, singing their first song surrounded by their fans. It's amazing to witness the amount of energy that these two English musicians display. You just had to start dancing on their contagious raps 'n' rhythms... And credits go to the unknown Martijn, who had the guts to step onto the stage to rap an improvised song with Nizlopi.
