The Brunettes (Studio K, Amsterdam) 15 November 2007
After two support acts (Go back to the Zoo, Rahim) had finished playing their songs at the Studio K venue, The Brunettes kicked in.
The Brunettes were formed in 1998 and consist of Jonathan Bree and Heather Mansfield who are both singer of the band.
They play their own material, both soothvoiced songs as well as swinging trumpets, that sounds much older because of that
contagious sixties/seventies flavour sound that accompanies all their numbers, mainly from their latest CD, Structures & Cosmetics. I vividly recommend this band to anyone who wants to go and see a good live act.
