An Pierlé & White Velvet - GDMW Festival (Rotterdam), 30 september 2006

On Saturday 30 September An Pierlé & White played at the Arts Festival GDMW ('No Deeds But Words'), a two-day event which took place in the Rotterdam Theatre. On the program, writers, poets and musicians, each of them performing in one of the three halls in the building.

White Velvet played towards the end of the evening in the main hall and succeeded to fill the hall with curious listeners, some of whom sat on the red cushions on the floor that created an intimate atmosphere. At the opening song An whispered to the audience. Loud songs like Medusa and Not The End alternated with I Love You and songs that I had not heard live before: Many Roads and The Days Of Pearly Spencer - the complete setlist can be found at the bottom of this page.

Guitarist Tom Wolf
