Ramses Shaffy with Alderliefste :: Open air concert at the Vondelpark, 12 August 2007

Alderliefste, a band that mainly plays French evergreens, is also the trio that has translated the famous Dutch song 'Laat Me' by Ramses Shaffy, into French (under the title 'Vivre'). The old master himself was present this afternoon at the Amsterdam Vondelpark to sing a couple of songs by himself. And he was in a good mood. He would probably sell out the big halls in Amsterdam should he organise a show once more...

Gerard Alderliefste is the singer who has led his family name to the band.

Arnd Broeke (bass guitar and vocals)

Luc de Bruin (drums and vocals)
